Biography and Notes

1st son. Baptised at Ranmore, Surrey. Educated at Malvern College, 1872-8, matric. Cambridge (Jesus College) 1880, BA 1883, student at St. George's Hospital, Westminster, MRCS and LRCP 1888. Buried in the English Cemetery at Maitland, nr. Cape Town.

In medical practice in Cape Colony (successively at Bredersdorp, Kenhard, Barkly West, and Victoria West) 1888 till his death. Surgeon-captain to the Kimberley Light Horse during the siege of that town 1899-1900. D.S.O. J.P. for Barkly West. A Freemason.
