Eldest daughter of 6th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe. Educated at Aldenham and in France.
For part of Second World War worked as a Telephone Operator in firm of Everett Edgcumbe, London. President., Plymouth Branch, League of Pity (N.S.P.C.C.) from 1955; President of Red Cross
(Tavistock) 1963-70; Manager of Church School, Bickleigh, 1953-63.
