Biography and Notes

Only daughter of Captain John Mordaunt (17th Lancers) of Gatcombe Court, Flax Bourton, Somerset, JP (sister of Lieut. Col. Mordaunt, see Mordaunt Bart. in Burke's 'Peerage'. Baptised at Long Ashton, Somerset. Buried in Painswick Cemetery. Memorial Inscription there.

After her husband's death lived at Oxford to 1903, and afterwards at Yew Tree House afsd. October 1915 till her death.
